Decades of pollution, erosion, and habitat loss have affected the Bronx River. Residents in the area do not have access to safe green spaces for recreation or clean water. We started the Bronx River Restoration Campaign for that reason—the Bronx River cleanup fundraiser.
The primary goals of this project are to clean up riverbanks, create communal garden spaces, and plant wildflowers and natural trees. These efforts help residents reduce pollution, support animals, and enjoy a healthier, more appealing outdoor area.
Your contributions support native plants, cleanup tools, volunteer activities in the community, and monitoring initiatives. Let's restore green resiliency and pure water to one of NYC's most important natural resources.
