Last year, Rani and Pihu, who are eight and eleven years old, lost both of their parents in a terrible car accident in Haryana. Their 70-year-old grandma has been living with them ever since. She makes ends meet with a small pension and odd jobs like cleaning and stitching.
Both girls have demonstrated amazing fortitude in spite of their loss and adversity. Pihu wants to become a doctor "to save lives like the ones her parents lost," while Rani aspires to be a police officer "to protect other girls."
- However, their education is in jeopardy. The cost of uniforms, books, school fees, and bus fare is just too high. They are intelligent and ready to learn, according to their teachers, but poverty is driving them over the edge.
We are collecting 1.2 lakh rupees to:
Pay for their tuition for two years.
Provide stationery, books, shoes, and uniforms. - Provide emotional support and basic therapy.
These girls deserve a future, not just a chance to survive.
🎒 Keep Pihu and Rani in school, please. Your contribution can transform their suffering into happiness.
