In Ranchi, a 41-year-old widow named Rekha Devi operated a modest tailoring business on a busy street corner. She was able to support her two children through school by stitching uniforms and blouses.
Her entire workstation was destroyed by fire last month due to a short circuit in the next store, which also destroyed her sewing machine, fabric, customer clothing, and years' worth of money.
Rekha is not covered by insurance. No fallback. No additional revenue. Just to put food on the table, she is now taking out loans.
Neither she nor we are going to give up.
- To assist her, we want to raise ₹1.5 lakh:
Invest on two industrial sewing machines.
Restock supplies and fabric.
Open a tiny, rented store.
Pay for her kids' tuition while she starts over.
💪 Let's give Rekha the strength to rise tall once more. She and her family will be able to start over with the support of your donation.
