Tribal populations reside in remote areas surrounded by hills and forests, frequently hours distant from the closest medical facility or drugstore. Maternal deaths are frequent, crises frequently result in tragedy, and fundamental ailments are untreated in these areas.
For many years, Seva on Wheels, our nonprofit, has been assisting these communities by delivering supplies and health education. We are now starting a mobile health clinic that will travel to 15 villages each month and provide the following services:
- Free health examinations
Immunizations
Women's prenatal care
First aid supplies and necessary medications
Workshops on health awareness
We have teamed up with physicians and nurses in the area who are willing to donate their time. We need the money to buy a van and fill it with basic equipment, medical supplies, and fuel for a whole year.
Our goal is to raise ₹18 lakh to launch and run the clinic for the first year. This project will directly benefit over 3,000 people, especially women and children.
💉 Help us bring healthcare to places where it has never reached. Donate to launch Assam’s first tribal mobile clinic.
